Stanford Summer Session is Stanford's fourth academic quarter. Current Stanford students who wish to explore courses outside their major, or simply accelerate their degree program, are joined by students from around the world who are invited to experience campus life at one of the world's premier universities. Our unique programs balance challenging academics with a rich menu of educational and social activities to produce a well-rounded summer of personal challenge and growth.

Stanford Summer Session programs
We offer specialized programs for undergraduates and graduates currently attending other colleges and universities; high school students and graduates who seek a unique pre-college experience; and the Stanford Summer International Honors Program, a partnership between Stanford and selected universities around the world. Applications open January 3, 2012. The application form is entirely online. Choose the program that best meets your needs.
